Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and the Gubernatorial and Mayoral Emergency Orders, the
City of Waukegan’s standard procedures for submittal of bids has been modified as noted

Sealed or Electronic bids will be received by the Owner until 1:30 p.m. on Friday, June 12, 2020 by
following the procedures indicated below:
Two Options are availble for submitting a Bid:
OPTION 1 – Hard Copy Bid Submission: A sealed envelope addressed with the name of the
Bidder, Owner, name and project number of the Contract, and the date and time of the Bid.

Deliver to the City Clerk Kilkelly c/o Deputy Chief Zupec, Waukegan Police Department Front
Desk, 101 North West Street, Waukegan, Illinois 60085.

OPTION 2 – Electronic Bid Submission: Bidders interested in submitting an Electronic Bid
Submission should email CityClerk@waukeganil.gov for written directions on how to
electronically submit their Bid.

IMPORTANT NOTE: If a bidder chooses this option to submit their bid, they must
contact the Clerk’s Office at the email above NO LATER THAN FRIDAY JUNE 5, 2020.
This will allow the Clerk’s Office a sufficient amont of time to respond to electronic
bidding information requests prior to the bid opening date.
