This project consists of a new toilet facility of approximately 830 square feet consisting of two (2) stall male and female toilet rooms, family toilet room, storage room and the associated site work.

Questions regarding the bids are to be sent to the Superintendent of Parks and Planning, Laura M. Rudow at lrudow@stcparks.org. All questions must be submitted in writing via e-mail by 5:00 p.m., Friday, January 25, 2019. Questions will be answered via bid addendum to be sent to those in attendance at the prebid meeting by 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 29, 2019. Except at the pre-bid meeting, NO questions will be accepted or answered verbally. No questions will be accepted or answered after Friday, January 25, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. It is the responsibility of the interested bidder to ensure they have received addendum, if any issued, and acknowledge such receipt where indicated.

The St. Charles Park District reserves the right at any time and for any reason to cancel this Invitation to Bid, to accept or reject any or all Bids or portion thereof, or accept an alternate bid. The Park District reserves the right to waive any immaterial defect in any bid, or technicality, informality or irregularity in the bids received, and to disregard all nonconforming or conditional bids or counterproposals. Unless otherwise specified by the bidder or the Park District, the Park District reserves the right to hold the best bids for ninety (90) days from the opening date set forth above. The Park District may seek clarification from any bidder at any time and failure to respond promptly is cause for rejection. The Park District further reserves the right to award the bid to the lowest responsible Bidder whose offer best responds in quality, fitness and capacity of the requirements of the proposed work or usage and therefore is in the best interest of the Park District.
